Jungfrau Winter Sports Weekend

Have you ever heard of Winter Wonderland?

Join us for a weekend at the charming and authentic Mountain Hostel in Gimmelwald, in the gorgeous Lauterbrunnen valley. A tremendous place with the most beautiful views of the Bernese Oberland 4000ers.

The hostel is located within the Jungfrau ski resort. Two valleys, three mountain ranges and 211 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes. The winter paradise with the backdrop of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau offers skiers and snowboarders everything their hearts desire: gentle slopes, steep drops, snow and fun parks, racing tracks and powder parties. Mürren-Schilthorn area, where the hostel is, has a lot of pleasure runs and steep slopes for skiers, adrenaline rushes for snowboarders and magical snow for winter hikers.

We will be all together for breakfasts, dinners and drinks, and during the day you’re free to do whatever you feel like doing: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, winter hiking, chilling at the pool or spa in Mürren… There is something for every taste!

How to get there

If you are traveling from Zurich by public transport, we recommend you take the following:

• Friday: Zurich HB 15:02 – 17:47 Stechelberg, Schilthornbahn (via Bern, Interlaken Ost & Lauterbrunnen)
• Sunday: Stechelberg, Schilthornbahn 15:42 – 18:28 Zurich HB (via Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken Ost & Bern)

If you are traveling by car, you can park at Parkplatz Schilthornbahn. The parking fee for the weekend is CHF 22.

The price for this event is CHF 250 in a shared room (dorm) or CHF 300 in a twin room.
