Guided Day Hike Between Switzerland & Austria

St. Antönien, nestled in the heart of Graubünden and at the border with Austria, a place that stands still in time with its authentic mountain houses, lush greenery and freshwater streams.

A stunning hike, rich in history and geology, that will make us walk along beautiful mountain lake, spend time in Switzerland and in Austria, and cross three mountain passes. The dark mountain ranges of crystalline Silvretta rock on one side of the valley contrast with the lighter limestone massif on the other, which makes the landscape even more dramatic! Several opportunities to stop for a tea or coffee in charming mountain huts.

We meet at 10:00 at Berghaus Sulzfluh to start the beautiful hike. If you arrive earlier, you can have a coffee or tea at this charming venue.

Insurance

It is the participant’s responsibility to get health and accident insurances that cover mountain rescue, including extreme sports. Becoming a Rega patron is highly recommended (CHF 40 per year only for emergency medical assistance from the air).

How to get there

If you are traveling from Zurich by public transport, we recommend you take the following:

• Zurich HB 07:07 – 09:27 St. Antönien, Sagaris (via Landquart and Küblis)
• St. Antönien, Sagaris 17:04 – 19:22 Zurich HB (via Küblis and Landquart) – depending on what time the event finishes

From St. Antönien, Sagaris, you can walk 30 minutes to Berghaus Sulzfluh to meet us there.

If you are traveling by car, you can park at Parkplatz P6 (https://goo.gl/maps/R6BZbBt37DM8yQGf8) and walk 30 minutes to Berghaus Sulzfluh to meet us there. The car park costs CHF 10 for one day (Twint or cash).
