Caving experience in Melchsee-Frutt
We all love hiking up the mountains, but have you ever wondered what the inside of these mountains looks like?
This trip is led by Niklaus Kretz, international mountain guide.
What’s the plan?
Meet your guide in Melchsee-Frutt (Bergstation) at 09:30.
Under the guidance of Niklaus, you will discover the souterrain of Melchsee-Frutt and explore one of the largest karst caves in Switzerland. We will spend over three hours inside the cave.
Requirements
This activity is accessible to caving beginners, as long as you are fit and not scared of being underground and in the dark!
Insurance
It is the participant’s responsibility to get health and accident insurances that cover mountain rescue, including extreme sports. Becoming a Rega patron is highly recommended (CHF 40 per year only for emergency medical assistance from the air).
